Into the Abyss

A Sow and her cub look to cross a short section of the Chilko Lake in British Columbia. Before they cross the mother's attention is drawn to the waters edge. Her demeanour changes quickly once she see's another Sow and Cub looking right back at them across the water. A short stare down ensued but cooler heads would prevail. I took this shot form a kayak with my Canon 5D MK IV 70mm-200mm
